Are we there yet? This thread is exhausting. This is not the first time piecesofme has not been able to see the other side.
To the OP, I wouldn't purchase a dime from you if you were selling for a nickel. I mean that absolutely. You've shown over & over your thin skin, slanted views and inability to give any other opinion with merit consideration. All it ever amounts to with you is "I'm getting picked on."
So you feel you got the better of a dealer who was asking too much, that's great. Post the story here and see what develops, fine. What happens next? Drag it all out into 6 pages and feel persecuted for a while... just like the last thread... and the one before that... and the one before that.
Maybe you should stick just to the BST and selling to the newbies. I don't even open your threads over there.

newbies LMAO!!! I've done business with alot more than you'd probably imagine here. That's why the reassuring pm's keep rolling in...and I dont blame them for saying anything in this or any other thread. I admit, and they know, I am a contrarian (not a sheep BAAAAH like most here). One last post from me for this train wreck of a thread:
I know I am new here, how does that come into play at all? You cry about people calling you names and being persecuted like a small child who was told no. When someone disagrees with you, you cry. THEN, as if irony was not in your vocabulary, quite similar to DECEPTION I assume, you call me an 'arse'. Did I ever lower myself to your standards here? NOPE You know why, cause I'm a healthy individual mentally. Please, OP, start taking your med's again. It will help all of us, including yourself.
And remember, just because someone does not see eye to eye with you, doesn't mean they're an 'arse'. But, when you call someone names for said disagreement, that 'arse' seems more appropriately, to be you.

I've dealt with Brian (Meltdown) before and would give him a reference in a heartbeat. Unlike some, there is no drama or worries when dealing with Brian.....what you expect is what you get and he is genuinely NICE to work with (even on the internet )
When I've dealt with Brian, there were no games, no headaches, just transaction that went smooth and exactly as both sides anticipated....and at fair prices for both
That's funny,,, you have an opinion of doing a BST transaction with me never having done one. I assure you, as will my references, that there's no "drama" in any transactions I've done...and they have been exactly as yours with Brian. Doing business with someone and having an opinion on an internet Forum are 2 entirely different things, and I will speak for myself here, I know how and when to distinguish that difference. Why can't others here? Maybe because they have an agenda.
As far as he thinks that i've only sold to newbies...what a joke, if he only knew. Brian works in a pawn shop as I understand it...nuff said there knowing how that rape the customer game works. If it isn't a pawn shop, it's a coin store...same way of doing business applies...stick it to the unknowing customer when they don't know what they have. But I'm the one deceiving a dealer at a coin show calling a bluff??? Truly insane.
Then CaptMorgan hijacks my thread on the BST and nothing has been done about it. Now if that isn't hypocritcal I don't know what is. It's no wonder most conforms to the sheep way of thinking here. If you step outside of the bounds of popular opinion...it could happen to you too. Consider yourself warned. But most of you already knew that right...hence everyone always agreeing with anything said on this forum. God forbid anything actually say how they really feel about something. So i'll be the scapegoat for this subject and remain true to myself.
To forgive is to free a prisoner, and to discover that prisoner was you.
You know , i can't help thinking your potential future customer base is shrinking with every post you make. You need to think before typing , walk away from the keyboard for 5 minutes and reconsider what you would have said and i bet you won't.
I've had several great transactions with piecesofme and I wouldn't hesitate to do more transactions with him.

It's called giving it back when what was thrown at me is unjustified. They throw the ball at the back of my head, I pick it up and throw it back. Not drama, just defending what I know to be. << <i> But I'm the one deceiving a dealer at a coin show calling a bluff??? . >>
If nothing else is gained from this experience, please learn what a bluff / calling a bluff is. It is really irritating.
The dealer quoting you $34 was not a bluff. That was an offer. You offering $31 was not "calling a bluff." It was a counteroffer (or at least it would have been had you been serious).
If anyone was bluffing, it was you, because you were representing that you would pay $31. If he would have said yes, then he would have "called your bluff."
You were not only deceptive with the dealer, you''re lying here to all of us yet again in this sad disturbing pity party of a thread you're throwing.
On the last page, you called me an 'arse' for making an offer in your BST thread. You say I hijacked that thread with my offer, a real offer unlike yours to the dealer in the OP. What evidence do you have to this effect, since you seem so quick to libel people here?
And I see you think I''m an ALT, I'm not, but you going on living in you're warped little world. The only one with an agenda here is you my sad little friend. You have to be right at all costs and no one is allowed to differ from you or you cry and whine and feel like a persecuted individual.
1) You lash out at anyone who disagrees with you 2) You are drama...it is evident in most everyone of your posts/comments 3) You say "popular opinion" but some of it seems that you refuse to see your own sarcasm/deception with the dealer whereas others see it, and called you on it. Your refusal to even admit it, in any fashion, is a sticking point for what some are pointing to and that you are harping on them for.
And, yes, I do have an opinion on how a BST would likely go with you based on your postings. People have opinions about me and I have opinions about people. The world functions on opinions. When folks have no opinions, they often get ripped off or have unsatisfactory experiences. You have opinions on people with low post counts. No matter if they have been here a long while or not. I have opinions on people who are rude, arrogant, etc etc etc. It's all good to have opinions
You also stereotype Meltdown and where he may work. Yet, that is ok for you to do, right? If someone stereotypes you, for reading the exact words that you write down for a failed interaction with a dealer, then they are wrong? Hmmmm There may be pawn shop folks, and coin shop folks, that don't rip folks off, right? Sure, there are many that do, but unless you have a personal experience with a specific one, you are just using an opinion with someone you have never interacted with......kind of like what you are whining about here, right?
I cant say that I agree with everything Rich writes here in these threads, but then again there isnt a single person who is always "right".
However, I have met Rich a couple times...face to face....for PM deals, and he is about as straight shooting as anyone I know. I would feel 110% comfortable doing a 5 figure deal with Rich...either in person or through the mail. He has some very extreme viewpoints, and isnt shy about sharing them...but he is also a man of his word, and has high integrity!
If so, I wouldn't trust him with 5 figures. Not so much because of our difference of opinion, but for the fact that, like others and myself pointed out, he can not even admit to his own deception with the dealer at the show. He claims the dealer was deceptive for not selling at a price pieces thought fair. Regardless of why the dealer brought the pieces to the show, they were his property and in a capitalist system, the seller basically has free reign to sell at his price.
The buyer can simply choose to buy elsewhere.
This is NOT deception, it is capitalism.
Pieces, or 'Rich' if that's his correct name chose to deceive the dealer to 'call him out' like he mentioned.
THAT IS DECEPTION
I wont even go into the many other red flags that have been shown by the OP.

Yes, Rich is Piecesofme. Now just a few questions for you:
1) Have you ever had any transaction with Rich? I have had a couple.
2) Have you ever met the man face to face? I have.
3) Have you ever even done a 5 figure PM deal? I have done quite a few.
So while YOUR opinion is formed with hypotheticals from the comfort of your home, MY opinions of Rich are based in fact and experience with the person. Guess whose opinion is probably more valid and accurate regarding Rich's integrity.
Yes, Rich is Piecesofme. Now just a few questions for you:
1) Have you ever had any transaction with Rich? I have had a couple.--- No, and I don't plan on it.
2) Have you ever met the man face to face? I have.-- No, and again, I do not plan on it.
3) Have you ever even done a 5 figure PM deal? I have done quite a few.-- Yes, quite a few as well.
So while YOUR opinion is formed with hypotheticals from the comfort of your home, MY opinions of Rich are based in fact and experience with the person. Guess whose opinion is probably more valid and accurate regarding Rich's integrity. -- I'm not really sure where I included hypotheticals, How was the dealer being deceptive, as pieces put it? Pieces WAS being deceptive with the dealer in his offer of $31 I believe it was.
I fail to see any hypotheticals.
And while I am in the comfort of my home, I don't see how this is in any way related to pieces actions, statements, or behavior in dealing with others disagreeing with him in this thread.
I never was disrespectful or called him any names, I disagreed with him, as did several others. He was the one calling me an 'arse'.
And while I value your opinion, I value mine too.
I still have yet to see a post from pieces apologizing to me for name calling, but I wont hold my breath.
If I have offended anyone in any way past or present... I want to say that I am very sincerely sorry. Whether you choose to accept or believe it is totally your choice, but I want to say it here publicly. Again I will say, that all I wanted to do is share a story here about my experience at a coin show. Sure, pick me apart, laugh at me, troll...but understand that it's just a shared story, nothing more or less. The name calling is unexcuseable on everyone's part, including myself. I can't expect to not be called names when I am doing it also, so thank you CaptMorgan for helping me to see that.
Phil (gecko109) has me pegged LMAO! Though I may be outspoken, I don't do it for attention, but merely (in most cases) to show that there is a different point of view. My comments about some (I never said all) being "sheep' here is over the top, I see that and will admit that. I apologize for what could be take as harsh language. I know full well that my "opinions" are ususlly not the go along with way of thinking and accept the critisism. But only constructive critisism when it is done in a civil manner. Yes, I need to work on my approach with that issue also, I admit that.
For the third time and hopefully the last, I am letting this go. I shared an experience, took the heat for inexcusable things I've done with regards to responses of mine on this thread, and see now how it could be taken from another point of view...the very thing that I (usually) try to do. Thank you all for helping me see that..to those who have stood by me thru this thread as well as those who've picked me apart. It has been a learning experience for me.
Sincerely, Rich

2) Have you ever met the man face to face? I have.-- No, and again, I do not plan on it.
3) Have you ever even done a 5 figure PM deal? I have done quite a few.-- Yes, quite a few as well.

hypotheticals, How was the dealer being deceptive, as pieces put it?
Pieces WAS being deceptive with the dealer in his offer of $31 I believe it was.
I fail to see any hypotheticals.
And while I am in the comfort of my home, I don't see how this is in any way related to pieces actions, statements, or behavior in dealing with others disagreeing with him in this thread.
I never was disrespectful or called him any names, I disagreed with him, as did several others.
He was the one calling me an 'arse'.
And while I value your opinion, I value mine too.
I still have yet to see a post from pieces apologizing to me for name calling, but I wont hold my breath.
At $7.50 a coin I am a buyer.
Assuming someone is being deceptive is just silly when others openly brag about it.
<< <i>P.S. In regards to my post in the OP's BST thread, how do you know I was not sincere in my offer?

If I look at other 90% silver FSH threads, will I find the same offer from you?
