  • I like the strike of number 2 and the color is soso on both of them so id pick number 2 due to the stronger strike showing more detail
  • Number two.

The details of coin #1 are typical for the variety, very hard to find fully struck ( for those of us who collect by variety this is common knowledge) Notice the micro weak mintmark.

    I gotta go with#2

If I were to get rid of both of them, I think I would kick myself more for getting rid of number one.

    So I choose number one.

Me too. But I voted for #2.

I like them both. Couldn't part with either one of them.
  • I not a stickler for strike so I like #1

I have to pick 1-- I think the toning is very nice and though the second coin has better detail, the toning and luster look inferior to 1. Wouldn't mind either one though.image

    Tough question.

Number one has a weak strike but no major hits. Number two has a nice strike, but a major gouge.

When it comes down to one or the other, I'd go with 1.

    Ummmm, #2 thanks! image

I like both also. Think the hit on the arm (#2) is probably less noticeable in hand, the scrape in the field to the left of that hit would be more of a concern, but I'm sure the size of the image magnifies both hits. If forced to choose, I'd go with two also.

I like the toning on the first coin more. They're both very nice coins and either one would be a fine addition to your collection.

Both are very nice, but I'm almost always gonna go for a strong strike #2 over a weaker #1.

I do have a hard time if I had to pick one which is also why I am asking for opinions.

Excellent. I don't think you could go wrong with either as 64's, even if they are priced slightly above 64 levels.

#2 - much better strike. I don't like weakly struck coins. Toning can't save them.

    I voted for #2, but it's close.

I like the toning better on #1; it enhances the design better. Number 2 got my vote because of the sharper strike on the Ms. Liberty's head and elsewhere.

This has turned very informative in terms of what others look at when they see the same coins.

I voted for number two, because the strike is much better. The toning on both looks nice and original and I have no preference for one over the other. So, I based my vote strictly on the quality of the strike. image
