Yes they are nice. I think the "downfall" was when people realized how small in diameter they were.

I collect gold dollars by golly and I was dissapointed in them.

I'd like to see a photo of them and a half dollar side by side and taken at an angle to show the thicknesses.

I got mine, felt it in my hand for a minute....liked the weight....then decided to slab and sell as they all look the same and there is really nothing special about them.
Not cool natural toning. No difference between any of the others minted. Not an original design..nothing.

Whatever became of the inny or outy variation? I recall some talk of this during the time. Some of the belly buttons do seem more pronounced. Many believe it is lighting, but I'm not so sure.
