Yea, I think I'm out of the bullion puck pursuit. Will probably 'man up' for the collectible version. Coin is VF30. Don't even remember whether I own this or just have the picture because someone sent it to me in negotiations. Either way, I like the look a lot for large early circulated silver.

Re: Slabbed coins - There are some coins that LIVE within clear plastic and wear their labels with pride... while there are others that HIDE behind scratched plastic and are simply dragged along by a label. Then there are those coins that simply hang out, naked and free

Not that beautiful, but in the eyes of a type collector, this is a piece of the holly grail.
Retired dealer and avid collector of U.S. type coins, 19th century presidential campaign medalets and selected medals. In recent years I have been working on a set of British coins - at least one coin from each king or queen who issued pieces that are collectible.
