Pulled these out to do a physical inventory (if silver closes above $30 all those 5-oz bars are gone):

    Here's my haul this week.
Somebody polished that 21 peace dollar and carved an X in the reverse eagle.
Now it's my new pocket piece...
I've never seen a 2oz piece like this one, so I had to have it.

    Love that bar carew4me!

Wouldn't want to be your postman this week DNADave! image

Calling Gecko here. Have you ever figured out the weight of the vinyl flip for the Pandas? Why do some of them come with the little paper?

    image
  • The plastic flips vary in size depending on the year.....for the 1/10ths they were smaller up until 1991 I believe. I dont have weights of the flips as there is just far too much variety when considering the year or sizes. The paper tag was included in each sheet of coins. I think in the earlier years (82-90) the 1/10ths came in sheets of 10 coins, with just one of those pouches in the sheet containing a little paper slip to identify the production run possibly. Starting in 1991, or 1992 I think, all 10 coins per sheet had slips included. Thats all the info I can give about that.

So, is it a mistery or you sold it with the same exact picture and the seller used it again?

Thanks for the info on the plastics!

Thats it for 2010 unless I surprise myself. I don't know if I can repeat next year given the current costs.
