Be honest---How many times a day to you check Kitco for pm prices?

Whether it's Kitco or another service how many times a day do you check in?

at least ten times a day for me if I'm traveling or at my real job. When I'm trading it's a lot less. MJ

I'd guess 20 to 30. It's probably more. My blackberry is on my hip all day long and I check Kitco like a normal person would check their watch. image

  • Lately it's been 6-8 times a day. Notice how slow the load time has been this week at Kitco?

How many hits a day do you think the Kitco website has gotten this week?
  • Not even once...from 5:15 to 6pm EST! image
Rest of the day? At least 20 times. PC at work, iPhone+BB during breaks and laptop at night.

I never would have guessed all you long term holders (or anyone for that matter) would check spot price more than once or twice a day. I check it maybe 3 times a week but I normally run across someone that has it in their sigline at least once a day. I figure if anything significant were to take place I'd read about it here.
  • Maybe only 20 times a day, I prefer this site:

    linky

I usually have two tabs open, one for AU and one for AG.
I detach the charts and divide my monitor with the two charts.

I usually set the time base to 1 min., for added gusto I'll set
    it to trades.

  • Somedays I dont check at all. I probably check 2-3 times a week tops. I really dont care about day to day fluctuations let alone hourly ones!
  • I see spot price quite a bit when I watch cnbc before work. Then I go to work, no checking, Check kitco at night.
  • Twice a day - around 11 am and 5pm. image

I check Kitco's prices mainly to see if there's any news. PMs are a better indicator of the news than the news is.

it is called google desktop. You can add several apps like a clock, weather, kitco, pics ect and it can sit on top or on the side of your main screen. It is always there and keeps up to date within minutes.
