Metal Porn Friday!!

Picked up this set of 4 PAMP Suisse 1/2 oz. Silver bars from my favorite dealer this week.

Notice that the bars are not in bezels. The "frame" is die struck as part of the bar

with the loop attached .... then sealed in a bubble plastic.

This set is a new one on me ..... Anyone know much about these .... what the ladies represent?

They're not Credit Suisse, but PAMP. New to me too, though I have seen other designs in that format by PAMP.

Nice bars SB! Never seen them before.
I would guess the ladies represent the 4 seasons. Grape, wheat, flowers and dead woods.

Those are very cool. And nice shots of them, too.

Nothing new here, but this is coming soon. For those who need to make space in their safe I guess.

Nice 250g bar carew4me! I am sure you will have at least a couple of offers for that! image
I was about to pick one 5oz up today, than I choose to buy something else.

I realized this morning that I haven't received anything this week, so I decided to play my first "Stopped by the B&M at lunch"™ card!
I stopped by a marketplace when I know there are a couple of little booths selling coins.
I ran into a very nice dealer that spent time with me explaining which coins were cleaned, why some were low grade, etc. and had some time to listen to what I had to ask in my broken english!

Here is what I bought, nothing special, all common dates (the prooflike Morgan is nice though!) but it was fun!

    Do you have the dimensions?
  • MesquiteMesquite Posts: 4,075 ✭✭✭
No on the dimensions. But Kitco should be selling them pretty soon. They are made by the Sunshine Minting. I found it on Jon Nadler's commentary today.

He wrote: "Kitco Metals has teamed up with a major pure silver supplier and a highly respected silver minter and has created what is sure to become a hit with physical silver bugs everywhere: the new, Kitco Signature Series 500 ounce Cast Silver Bar. The Sunshine Mint (a household name in the business of all things silver) has outdone itself with this one. This writer held one of these perfect-looking ingots the other day and experienced instant silver lust. Not a cheap item, by any means, but definitely one that –when held- embodies the essence of physical ownership in the white metal and reinforces the powerful effects of the ‘fondle factor.’ A superb addition to the growing family of eponymous silver products currently being offered at Kitco."
