Weiss ... I think you made a smart move with your Rhodium contract. That's the only PM that has not joined the rest of the band wagon.

My thoughts, too, Opa. It's a different animal in so many respects. But the possibility of it going up 50% just seemed solid. The chance of it dropping 50% is there, but doesn't seem probable. So I'm rolling the dice.

Major bold move on Rhodium, Weiss! Do you take physical possession of Rhodium?

Nope, this is Kitco's pool account. I'm not a fan of the concept of pools, or really even ETFs, but I like this type of account specifically for Rhodium.

We'll see. It's not SHTF holdings, this is just a roll of the dice gamble. Figured it was more interesting and exciting than most common stocks right now. And, hey, Rhodium was $10,000 an ounce not too long ago image

Is rhodium used mostly in jewelry. Christmas coming up might make it bounce a little.......???

    I think it's mainly used as a catalyst . . . but I may be wrong too!

Need the following OBW rolls to complete my 46-64 Roosevelt roll set:
    1947-P & D; 1948-D; 1949-P & S; 1950-D & S; and 1952-S.
Any help locating any of these OBW rolls would be gratefully appreciated!

Lunch pickup. Pristine. If I had to grade it, it would be a PF68:

    Wow wingsrule! Very nice bars!
I didn't know Argor had a 5ozer...thanks godness I sold my set or I should have made you an offer you couldn't refuse! image

What's in the back of the JM half? It's a pretty low number.
  • WingsruleWingsrule Posts: 3,010 ✭✭✭✭
Thanks for the kind words, Matteo.

The JM 1/2 and the 10g both have a plain back. I found the Argor the day after we last spoke about it.

Does anybody know anything about the vintage of this Deak bar? Has standard repeating Englehard rectangular logos on the back.

Nice and very interesting, thanks for sharing!
I saw one a while ago on eBay but, if I recall correctly, it was selling for too much (for me) over melt.

Deak-Perera's bars are very neat, I like them. I noticed that the silver ones tone in a nice pink color. (I had 2 and they both had the same pinkish appearence).
    Does anyone know why?

Our serial number is very close. I wonder how short a run this was?
