Got this earlier this week for melt. I admit: It looks a little suspect. But it's heavy, it's the right size, the right weight. I think it's just ex-jewelry and has had a hard life.

  • I doubt a fake would have such "deep dish" style rims since a thicker bar would be required to get to the correct mass if the length and width remained constant. Its fine.

    This week I have added some Palladium to my collection.
    I was unpleasantly surprised with the poor quality of the Stillwater rounds.

    edited to add: Russian coins are my favorites in this period. Anyone has any Gold "George the Victorious"?
