Any info?

Does anyone have any info on this? By the way, it's a bad picture, not a double die.

what would you like to know? These silver trade unit rounds come in so many variations that some people collect them. There is a hexagonal version of the silver trade unit. Not rare but its silver!

  • Where did it come from? When was it made? What's it worth?

I do not know exactly what year this particular 1-oz Silver Trade Unit silver round was minted in but I truly think that a lot of the Silver Trade Unit silver rounds were minted in the 1970's and some in the early '80's. That particular round is probably worth silver value plus a small premium over spot silver although you could probably sell it on ebay and get a little more of a premium for it.

DISCLAIMER: I am NOT a '70's silver art bar expert but I try my best to play one on the Internet.
  • As in like 25-30$?

no not that high. Probably 19-20. In the area I was in, these silver trade units were spot+1-1.50 I've seen this one before, not hard to find but of course ebay people may pay extra.

Just another, not to popular, silver bullion round, worth only slightly above melt. Hold your round until silver spot hits $25-$30 & then sell it.

BTW...I just noticed that they gram rounds & not oz rounds...you need a magnifying glass to see them.

I would not pay more, including shipping, than $.90 each for the 1.1 gram ones in the scan.
