As stackers, we often attain goals we set out to achieve. There are certain milestones in our "hoarding" lives, and im about to achieve one very soon. The milestone im about to pass is my 1st 1,000 ounces of silver. I think thats a fairly formidable amount, and im proud to have accomplished the feat. Listed below are some other potential milestones for bullion folks.
Gold

10oz
Kilo
50oz
100oz
Silver
100oz
500oz
1,000oz
5,000oz
What sort of milestones have you set out to achieve and have succeded?

I just passed my 100 oz of silver (not considering numismatics items). I am thinking to stop at 200 since it may be a problem carrying them back to Italy (if I ever decide to go back). Gold would be easier to carry!
My first target is 5oz of gold by the end of the year and then I will keep stacking.
Of course, I can change my mind if silver goes back to $10-13!
Good job again!
PS: this thread is useless without pictures!

Did you rent a parking lot for the pictures?
My son is here helping me find something interesting on eBay. He said he likes Pd better!

<< <i>I was happy to hit 10% of net worth. >>
I passed that mark long ago....but I aint really worth much, truth be told!
I'd always had a little Ag and Au, and had been adding since '05. But I immediately began stacking in earnest. Now it's closer to 70% real estate.

And like you, Gecko, the PM balance is WAY over 10% of my net worth...ain't much other than silver at the moment!

<< <i>Question from a newbie. Are most of you stacking ASE's, Morgans/Peace, Commem's? Or something else? I am sure this is a stupid question so feel free to ridicule me after you answer it. >>
I like variety so I buy whatever comes along at a good price. I've got silver bars of various sizes and manufacturers, 900 fine junk silver coins, silver rounds, ASE's, etc. I like good deals and lots of variety.

I'm also at $71.20 in 90%. I'd like to first round that off to a nice $75 in my little canvas bag, then maybe go to $100.
For every $500 I spend on silver, I spend $2,500 on gold.
Whatever that adds up to in the end if fine with me.
Gold: Kilo
Silver: 1,000oz
10 - 100 oz Silver bars
bag of Morgans (1,000)
1 - 10 oz Gold bar
vs Reality:
Will have to wait for a rich relative to die B4 any of the above becomes attainable..
1 oz bar of gold (waiting to recieve, should be here this week).
1/4oz AGE
5 1/10oz AGE
2 Engelhard 10 OZ Silver
40 ASE
A couple other misc items.
Most of this bought in the last 2 weeks or so.
<< <i>Right now I'm at 68oz of silver and .85 oz of gold. I'd like to get to 100 and 1.5, respectively, in the next few months. I try to keep my values of gold and silver roughly equal.

Just curious why you don't include your 90% in your total silver count? Personally, all my silver (except for the jewelry I find) is in 90% coins.

My 90% is included in the 68oz. They are just two separate tallies of about the same thing.
<< <i>Actually its quite surprising how little space 65+ pounds of silver occupies! It will all fit easily into a standard sized shoebox with plenty of room to spare. I hope your newborn boy understands that Pd is strictly an industrial metal with no psychological ties to use as "money"....just sayin. >>
Gecko, congratulations on 1000 oz of silver. It is a great round number.
I've hit my 1000 oz goal for silver. You're right about the limited space needed for 1000 oz. USPS makes a small Priority Small Flat Rate box just perfect for housing ten - 10 ounce bars. Those boxes in turn stack nicely in a SDB.
My next goal is 100 oz of gold. Before I retire I want 30% of net worth in AU and AG.

Many members on this forum that now it cannot fit in my signature. Please ask for entire list.
<< <i>I hear you, gecko. About 2 years ago I kind of had a wake-up call concerning my asset distribution. It was something like 96% in real estate

I am at about 8% and working to 10%. At that point I will look and see what is going on in my life. My main focus has been on gold lately.
