Paul, Those look great. Excellent centering on both, really go well with your 61 Topps. Did you win the 63 Topps PSA 7 via EBAY? This is really going to be fun watching you do this. Remember the 48 Bowman/Leaf and 53 Bowman Color are expensive cards. Make sure you knock out at least one of those with proceeds from your 56's that you sold.

My newest addition, replaces a PSA 6 that I had purchased earlier in the year. Wouldn't normally make a habit of upgrading from a 6 to 7, but this card is heavily weighted card in the composition, so it made for a nice upgrade on my Master Set.
Ok....so today I purchased another Musial card. That makes 6 so far. This time I picked up a '62 PSA 8 from 4 Sharp Corners. I think I got a good deal on it, it's nicely centered. I wouldn't be able to do this if it wasn't for the '56's that I have been selling on ebay.
Nice one Paul. The 4 you have remaining are pretty difficult from here. Good Luck on those last 4. Hope the seller of those 48's and you can cut a deal.
So I didn't pick up either of the '48s, the seller never answered my question. Today, my '60 Musial arrived, except, I wasn't home and I missed it, so now I have to either pick it up or wait another day!
I've peakied in on this thread often as I am a big fan of Musial cards. He has some of the best ones. I only got a few and they are in the other guy's holders but I thought I'd share.
Red man cards are my favorites and this gem is from RGOLD (big red man collector). Waited months to finally grab this and so happy. One of the best 8's I have seen and I've looked at many!
This other is a favorite I got on ebay this year as well:
Thanks for sharing some of these cards here. It has helped me decide to go for some others soon I hope!
Happy New Year everyone! I received my '62 Topps from 4SC's, but my Internet is down at my house. As soon as it is fixed, I'll post a scan. Now, I'm in slow motion. I'm still looking for both the 48s, the 52 and the 53. And of course, I'm still looking for Clemente's rookie. Selection/price is slim on Ebay right now.
Just finished reading "Stan the Man" this weekend. A nice book about an even nicer person. Sad that he is/was not as popular as players that had less ability.

Excellent Book, I enjoyed the read myself. I am reading "From Stash to Stan" right now. Another good perspective on Stan Musial. I agree that had he played in NY, he would be larger than life today in terms of collecting.
I just had kid #2, so I'm having a hard time convincing my wife on how I should spend any extra money, and with the economy the way it is, there is a possibility that I won't be teaching summer school. If that happens, then I won't have any extra money until October!!!
I have been buying some of the cheaper Nolan Ryan cards that I need for the Topps player set I'm also working on.
Paul, Great Musial RC. I am really happy to seen you end up with this magnificent card! I am also really impressed with your ability to keep chipping away at this set. Your almost to the finish line.

Paul, Looking forward to seeing the 62 when you get it. Are or have you sent that 60 off to be reviewed yet?
I just picked up a PM15 Musial pin, sent it out today on the registry special to be graded. Hoping for a PSA 5 or higher.
Happy New Year!

I just started "Mint Condition" and the author was on the MLB network special....so that was/is kind of cool.

Good book as well, but will raelly tick you off as you get through it. The book exposes alot of greed and wrong in this hobby.
