Thanks Matt. I agree Stan Musial was as good a hitter as anyone. A .331 lifetime avg. and 7 batting titles. I wish that Bowman had made 50 and 51 card of him.
I'd love your 9!! but alas, it all depends on how much I can save up without spending it on group rips and other cards. I think the 52 is his best looking card and would love to get it in a 7, but everything on Ebay right now is BIN.
I most likely won't get it until the end of the year, plus, I have around 20-30 cards that I would like to sub, but am waiting on a $4.50 special to come around and we all know that won't happen for a while after the National.
Great collection guys, keep up the good work & thanks for taking the time to share the pics.
Back in the mid 80's I walked into a card shop and saw the 1952 Bowman Musial. I remember thinking that was one of the most eye appealing cards I had ever seen, and I still feel that way today. The PSA 9 shown in this thread is absolutely amazing, great centering, bright colors & of course, MINT corners.
I am putting together a set of Post War HOF Rookies so some day I will have to pick up a Musial rookie. Probably the Bowman, much cheaper than the Leafs & I love the ocassional black & white cards.
I got PSA to unretire my Basic set, so that I could use the cards I still had, and build it over again. I am coming full circle and doing some more buying of Musial cards, but finding them ALOT more difficult to acquire in higher grade. Anyway, Here is the latest addition, this get me back to 50% on my Basic Set.
Just got my first card back to start this set. Here is one of my favorite Musial cards, though it is not in the list of Musial Registry cards. Extremely difficult to find.
<< <i>Congratulations? What exactly does that mean? >>
Paul, It means that my set is no longer active. I retired it as an active set, but its complete and there for prosperity. I worked to acquire those cards, and am proud of the set.

James, I am aware of this card, but I have never seen one. So for that I thank-you! Yes, its a quite a difficult card. Congrats on obtaining one (BTW, where did you get it?)!
