They might take a cursory look to be sure they didn't royally botch the grade, but if you want them to be graded in the normal process (PCGS cracks the coins and sends them to the graders raw) you'll have to send them in via the Regrade service. What are the dates/grades and why do you want them regraded?

Well, I have a response to each point you made:

-Do you really think the coins should upgrade, or garner the plus designation? There's a big spread from 64 to 65, and PCGS tends to be a little tougher if anything when there's a large spread than when it's small (such as if these were 1881-S coins).

-If the coins won't upgrade, why waste your money? With postage, this endeavor will probably run around $175, just for two pieces of plastic. If you want the holder, buy a coin already in the holder when one that you are interested in shows up. It's just plastic.

IF there's a shot at an upgrade. I've sent in one coin to upgrade, because it was a lock to do so. There are plenty of nice coins that I won't bother sending in for regrades, even when I've had them reholdered, because I knew they wouldn't upgrade. Then, it's not a "shot" but rather a waste of money.

One other, unrelated suggestion... if you put in your title what the thread was really about, I'll bet you'd get a lot more replies, and faster ones, too. Vague titles tend not to draw in as many people. Perhaps something like "I want to reholder a few Morgans, should I have them regraded?"

It's your money, but why reslab them?? If it's because they are all scratched they can be cleaned up.
