Maybe overshadowed by my other NEWP, these two girls are still happy additions to the harem ... or i

Two seated and a standing (walking) ?? ... maybe it's an all girl menage a trois

While both of these new girls had the unusual timing of showing up at the same time as the other Seated Liberty Half I acquired recently, I am enjoying and appreciating them both as well, even if my 1849 Seated Half pickup highlights the trio.

Oh, and one of these two has a bean ... which would be the first of it's kind in my collection.

Guess the grades and comments always appreciated.image

The 1877 is beautifully struck. The 16 has a lot of luster and the surfaces look original to me. I think they are both mid-AU.

"......additions to the harem ... or is that a brothel?" Depends, are they yours or are you renting them out??

I do not like the look of that green on the 1877... does not look at all good... hope it is not PVC.... Cheers, RickO

Kaz, thank you ... the 1877-S got a bean (before I bought her of course) and is a wonderful original example. She has some yellows and greens (no, not PVC Ricko) and is really quite attractive in hand. PCGS graded her as an AU53.

The 16-D is quite lusterous and attractive, with just the barest traces of circulation, although her originality probably holds her overall eye appeal back a little bit ... the smattering of carbon stains (very light, but noticable both in hand and on the picture; lower right obverse) are mildly distracting, even if they help establish her charcter. PCGS graded her as an AU58.

I'm not sure it's my numismatic mind that's dirty image

although ... I do like the original (read "dirty") look!

Hmmmm, interesting thought ... they are mine, and if I could then rent them out they could help pay for themselves image

Ken, I didn't forget ... I still have a small stash in the warchest awaiting your decision. image

Fellas, leave the tight pants to the ladies. If I can count the coins in your pockets you better use them to call a tailor. Stay thirsty my friends......
