Fellas, leave the tight pants to the ladies. If I can count the coins in your pockets you better use them to call a tailor. Stay thirsty my friends......

      Why limit this to coins?

Here is a political medal from the 1868 presidential campaign that highlighted one of the great concessions that Grant made to the defeated Rebels at Appomattox.

He allowed the men to take their horses with them so that they could use their animals for spring planting. This was significant because the war had created famine through out the South. It was vital to the survival of many southern families that the soldiers returned home and raise food and other agricultural products for their families and the southern economy. The slogan on the obverse “Let us have peace,” was the most important theme of the 1868 Grant presidential campaign.

This is a large, well executed and impressive medal that measures 50 mm.
Retired dealer and avid collector of U.S. type coins, 19th century presidential campaign medalets and selected medals. In recent years I have been working on a set of British coins - at least one coin from each king or queen who issued pieces that are collectible. I am also collecting at least one coin for each Roman emperor from Julius Caesar to ... ?

Damn that is a beautiful coin...
I manage money. I earn money. I save money .
I give away money. I collect money.
I don’t love money . I do love the Lord God.
