Just a comment. (Y'all know how I love to comment.) With the widespread focus on colorful tarnish here on the forum, I was thinking that perhaps the market for colorized coins may be about to explode. After all, they can do so much more than the environmental damage so prized presently. Cheers, RickO
Robec. both 3 leggers are real and 2 of your coins the 13p and 14p I would like to see in hand before I made a better judgement. Also fisteeth 13p looks NT to me. A couple of these although nice colors they look shake and bake to me. A few of these have been enhanced to achieve these colors.

I have heard that said about some that are also included in the top set or sets. The 1913 and 1936 were mine, both PCGS PR67. The 1936 was upgraded to PCGS PR68 after being sold. Wish I still had them. The other 3 shown belong to other members.
For the sake of the new collectors, would someone comment on the well-known fact that a Coin Doctor has been cooking colored rings into Buffalo Nickels for many years?
I recall that Joe O'Çonnor mentioned on his website recently that perhaps a small fraction of colored buffs are naturally toned or un-messed with.
Maybe this is why there aren't multicolored shield nickels and liberty nickels in the same quantities?
I would just like to say thanks for all of the help this forum has given me in honing my skills as a collector....It is appreciated....Joe....Also to horns a plenty for getting me interested in these Buffalo nickels....

This is a good point and Joe may very well be right. However, when you see a Buff that has a similar toning pattern of a coin you KNOW is NT then (possibly a coin stored in your own folder over a number of years)....you get a pretty good idea of what they "should" look like.

Hey Jom....I used to think so, but I've been fooled so many times, as soon as I think I'm dialed in, I'll get a wake up call....

I hate to say it, but I generally agree with Cape. Although I only think 7 out of 10 are AT'ed.
But I'll add that I still like them.
