I'm looking for some 1/20 oz bullion gold

I'm looking to purchase about 10 1/20oz either gold maples or gold american eagles, probably not right now atleast not all of them, but some time soon. Apmex doesnt appear to carry any and the selection on ebay leaves something to be desired. Can anyone tell me a good place to get them? I'd prefer there not sealed in plastic so I can get them a little cheaper and so I can fill a bunch of airtites that I have.
I see the Maples on bulliondirect

As far as I know they don't make 1/20 AGE's.

You are correct sir. It would require a "magnifying glass" to view a 1/20 oz gold sliver.

Lots of 1 gram bars available ( slightly smaller than a 1/20 oz ) ... again, very tiny. You'd do better with a 1/10 oz, at least that's recognizable with the naked eye.

I agree with OPA, the 1/20 are very small. The 1 gram bar small too.
I had a few but just kept one for my Maple's anniversary set.
Anyway, if you want to go that way, these Libertads are very nice. With Bing you can get them at a good price, IMO. (not my auction)

See the difference between 1/2, 1/4, 1/10 and 1/20. I am going with the 1/4 & up from now on.

PS. If you meant 20 oz, that's a different story...LOL

I always say, and live by, "collect what you like". However, in the case of your desire to buy 1/20ths, I have to question your motives. If its because you love the tiny gold coins, then by all means, best of luck in your pursuits!

If its because you mostly just want bullion (and you hinted at that in your post), then I would RUN AWAY from this size! Its a real premium killer as the cheapest you'll likely find, even in quantity, will be at least 25% over melt! Things get a little better with the 1/10ths as they can be had for around 15% over melt usually. Quarters are cheaper still with average premiums in the 10-11% range, and as low as 8.75% at Tulving. Halves are an even better bargain at around 6-7% over melt, and finally 1ozers at as low as 3% on occassion.

Now that we have seen a fairly accurate breakdown on common gold bullion in different sizes, its time to analyze the data. You said you have some airtites in the 1/20th size to fill. DO NOT let this be your deciding factor! Airtites are dirt cheap, 25% over melt is not! You are better off buying tenths or even quarters, and then pop for the 10 bucks for new airtites of that size.

Finally, something I need to add for complete transparency. While in the midst of converting most of my gold panda collection into AGE quarters, I have been told that I can do much better than the 8-10% over melt price on these coins, IF I was to buy other forms/sizes. Being involved in precious metals for over a decade, I already knew this. I LIKE the AGE quarters, so im happy to spend the extra cash to have those as opposed to a mishmash of other bullion. So if you LIKE the 1/20ths, please disregard everything I have stated above, and buy what you like! You have to be happy with what you buy, otherwise, whats the point?

    What Gecko says.
There are lots of 1/10th ounce coins out there, but very few 1/20ths. Unless somebody happens to buy in a deal cheap, they are not going to sell them cheap.
Deals on 1/10ths can be found if you shop around.

I originally bought these airtites for the $1 US gold and thats proabably what I'm gonna use them for. I just liked the idea of throwing in a little bullion I could easily sell a little bit here or there. I know the premiums form retailers are very high for the small sizes but a 25% premium that I pay doesnt matter that much when the person that buys it from me also pays me a large premium.
