Okay, to be fair to Adrian, I did purchase this 1795 Draped Bust dollar from him just over nine years ago. It is a truly nice coin and is still in my collection-
They did have some pretty nice coins! I still kick myself for not buying a mid-1860s seated dollar they had (1866?) in MS-64. I didn't like the die polish lines at the time... whoops.
Want to buy an auction catalog for the William Hesslein Sale (December 2, 1926). Thanks to all those who have helped us obtain the others!!!

All coins kept in bank vaults. PCGS Registries Box of 20 SeaEagleCoins: 11/14/54-4/5/12. Miss you Larry!
Here's the lowest grade coin they ever had. I've posted this before, this is the "CAC" stickered PO-1 coin that TrainNut picked off in a local shop, submitted it, and sold it to Brandon. It got the CAC sticker between that time and the liquidation sale at Heritage.

I had a dealer send in a PO01 Morgan for me and got the response that CAC doesn't sticker Bullion Coins.
It is not exactly cheating, I prefer to consider it creative problem solving!!!
Just a thought - Did it get the bean because even though you can't see the date you know what the date is?? If you don't know the date then technically it is no better than bullion, right?
“A nation can survive its fools, and even the ambitious. But it cannot survive treason from within. An enemy at the gates is less formidable, for he is known and carries his banner openly."
I never bought any coins from Adrian as the prices were steep but I had a great time meeting Adrian and Brandon kelly several years back at the FUN show and going out to dinner....very likeable guy and Brandon was ok except for the burnt christmas he was drinking

That would be more myspace than facebook. Love how others always inject their snide comments into things.
People here know what Adrian posted but no one knows the whole story....only what they want to let their imaginations lurk into regarding his divorce and decisions. If someone had proof of his activities, rather than just reading into things, that would be different. Maybe folks are just jealous?
For me, what he did was outside of the forum, doesn't affect me, and I have no proof that he did anything illegal in the country he was/is in (nor even this one), so I leave that alone.
For a coin from Anaconda, there was one I bought, a proof IHC. I need to see if I can find a pic of it later to post.
I bought one coin from them, through Heritage, and dealt with Brandon, who was a gem to deal with in person. Very friendly and had no issues with show and tell of some high priced pieces. Never had the chance to meet Adrian. The coin I bought was pricey, but worth it and wonderful.
Say what you want about the former coin company Anaconda. Bottom line, they had a plethora of beautiful coins to enjoy and both Adrian and Brandon I spoke with many times at shows and they were indeed a pleasure to interact with. Their absence now and their amazing inventory at the Santa Clara, CA show twice a year is certainly our loss.

You haven't been back on for a while... last post by A.C. was he was watching his story book cottage being pillaged while he was hiding in the bushes.
He was fearing being trapped in the land of young triplets without a passport.

Back to coins, I bought a really attractive rim toned 05 O Barber Half from Anaconda in PC 5 (sorry, I don't have pics of anything I own).
"Seu cabra da peste,
"Sou Mangueira......."
One of my favorites. And one of the few cross for grade from NGC that I own.
I don't really know or care what happened. But I really miss thier site...

I guess I could have phrased my post better - My first statement referred to the A&R. My second referred to MadMarty's comment about the PO-1 Morgan.

Some of their old inventory is archived via the Wayback Machine, such as this version of their 3/31/06 website, complete with many (but not all) pics.
I like this '92-CC Morgan (though I think it suffers from typical CC-induced gradeflation) ...
