METAL PORN

WeissWeiss Posts: 9,941 ✭✭✭✭✭
I mentioned last Tuesday that I stopped by the B&M to feed the need, but he was closed image

So I took the plunge and did my first Bing deal on eBay: 50 silvertowne 1-ounce bars in plastic for $914. With cashback @ 10%, the total was $822.60, or $16.45 each, delivered.

Got 'em last night. And Bing is showing the correct amount being processed (does it usually take the full 60 days?).

hopefully in the next week or so I'll post about $400 Face in unmolested packed-away since the early 60's 90%. This older guy in town wants to take a cruise and wants to dump this silver. He collected it in Boston, MA from paper boys turning in change at the Boston Globe. Should be interesting what's in there.

    Zubie,
    Love the Pamp!

what is the bar to the left of the Oval Pamp?

    Loves me some shiny!
  • ZubieZubie Posts: 1,160 ✭✭✭✭
    Thanks guys,
The oval pamp pendant is a 1 oz silver. The pamp to the left is a 1 oz palladium pamp. I'm going to start buying more palladium pamps and lay off on the silver for awhile...unless I find some deals under melt. Someone asked what the NGC holders were. There are 3 SAE Reverse 70s and a proof 70...looking for a MS70 to complete a set. There is also a PCGS 68 & a 69 Reverse in there too.
I really like the 10oz Maple Leaf, it was my 1st silver bullion piece I ever bought.

Anyone go to blue moons website? What a rip off. Buys eagles for 15 and some change and sells for 20 and some change. Even my local dealer can do better than that!

I have just never gotten Blue Moon. They have to be a rich guy's hobby or ego trip. They can't possibly sell anything to anyone with half a brain.
