I posted that 1 gram bar yesta'day. But I did add a little more to the pile than that:

My dealer offered me the choice of two for melt ($275). He had some quarter eagles, too, but he wanted $10 over for those. So I opted for the panda and the tiny bar.

  • Just got home about an hour ago from my trip downtown to see Da Captain at HJB. Picked up a few quarters while I was there.

I saw a roll of .25s when I was at my last coin show and though: Wow. That's a dense, compact, yet divisible fist-full of gold. Ãœberjealous!

  • I want to convert all of my pandas over into these, but the wife put the nix on that. I might sell off all the pandas I have with huge numismatic premiums to replace with these. I dig the uniformity, divisibility, durability, and cold hard metal feel!

Keep that Panda collection semi intact minus the dupes! It's too cool to bust up just for conversion....

I was hoping to get to the post office to pick up my bag of Ikes to play with (I know not pm) tonight but alas I almost plowed a neighbors mailbox with this GA treat today -

    1947-P & D; 1948-D; 1949-P & S; 1950-D & S; and 1952-S.

Those are cool rolls. And with feedback like that, I'd trust the seller that those are in fact all silver quarters.

Nah, I couldn't bing it as it was an auction not a BIN. IMO, the shipping is pretty spendy, but other than that, I think its a pretty good deal.

This just arrived this afternoon in a plain white envelope. No signature confirmation, no delivery confirmation, no insurance. It's not really worthy, you guys have some nice stuff, but it's different so here it is.

I think those Engelhard gold prospectors are VERY underrated! Thats a great purchase for even up to melt +20%.

You should have left it to me! I think I was bidding on the same item few days ago.

If received with no delivery confirmation, you may want to keep it for free...image
