Michael Jordan

What is Michael Jordan's top card as far as investment purposes? Is it the obvious 86 Fleer, or is it one not as highly sought after? What is the VCP for his 87 Fleer card and sticker?

For speculation purposes, I would buy up as many raw and PSA 8 and 9 88-89 stickers as possible and shoot for a 10.
Kiss me once, shame on you.
    Kiss me twice.....let's party.
  • The most iconic card in modern basketball, the 1986 Fleer RC. Otherwise, you can take a shot at the 84 Star singles but the legitimacy of the cards can be questionable. Only a few autos can compare but those are already pretty expensive.
  • I hear the 85 Jewel Prizm sticker aint a slouch neither.

The 1986 Fleer is one of the top cards in the hobby. I doubt the Star will ever surpass it in terms of mass appeal due to reprint concerns.

Buy the one and only BGS 9 Star Jordan Rookie.
  • My favorite is the 1985 Nike.... beautiful card and those are extremely limited.

The 97-98 PMGG is a great card to invest in if you can find one and afford it.

Besides the 86 Fleer, his 90 Fleer has the best pic

1984-85 Star # 101 Michael Jordan is by far his most valuable card. If you make a play for one, you have to make sure it's legit first. There are many counterfeits out there.
"My father would womanize, he would drink. He would make outrageous claims like he invented the question mark. Sometimes he would accuse chestnuts of being lazy. The sort of general malaise that only the genius possess and the insane lament. Our childhood was typical. Summers in Rangoon, luge lessons. In the spring we'd make meat helmets. When we were insolent we were placed in a burlap bag and beaten with reeds - pretty standard really."
