    whats making it go up? Silver should be heading up but is staying around mid 18ish while other metals are taking off. Depressing

    I think the main catalyst is the new ETF unless car makers are short of product and buying up some of the supply.

    I agree with your statement, but at this stage of the so called "recovery," I would dump Gold before Palladium.

    I agree, Gold has increased nearly 500% from it's low price in 2001 while Palladium has increased far less on a percentage basis plus palladium has far more industrial uses and is as rare as Platinum making Gold look common in comparison.

    Looks like the palladium ETF currently has over 2.5 million shares outstanding, which translates to 250K ounces. I read that annual mine output is only around 7 to 8 million ounces, so the ETF could be adding considerably to the percentage of mine output going to investment demand. IMO.
