If he balks at the rescheduled meeting tomorrow, it will look even worse.
The sponsors really will not be impressed with a "role model," who is sandbagging the cops. How does a parent explain that to their kids?

You're right, fur. Heck, Kobe is an admitted adulterer and accused rapist and people seem to have forgiven him! I can't believe the people endorsing him to the tune of $100MM/year aren't telling him the same thing. Heck, half of Gatorade's current marketing strategy is built around him and 90% of Nike golf. These people need to get on the phone to Mark Steinberg and tell him to advise TW to be honest.
I am all for clients telling their lawyers what to do and what results are expected.
BUT, when the client is on the wrong road, the lawyer should set the client straight OR step away from the case.

I personally know JP Hayes, He is a good friend, I can tell you he has more integrity then most I have ever met. I often see him at our club with his daughter and son hitting golf balls. He is a regular church participant when he is in town ( not out on tour), he is very friendly. When he is practicing, it is well know to leave him alone and allow him his space. We have several pro golfers who are members at my club. Chris Baryala, ( Got his tour card this year after finishing 19th on the nationwide tour this year), Rich Beem ( he just moved to Austin but made on tour and won the PGA Championship while he was a member at our club ( still has a membership and is often here), Paul Stankowski, Ryan Hytaila..and some others.
I can tell you JP Hayes, always takes his time to help others, stops and asks how you are, and will always be there to lend a helping hand. He has been happily married for many years, and after 17 years on tour, he hasnt changed one bit.

Gloria Allred has never canceled a news conference in her career ... so why was today's camera op scuttled? Sources tell us Rachel Uchitel and Tiger Woods have been communicating ... as recently as late last night.
Sources say Rachel was in touch with Tiger and his reps before Friday's car accident and last night for approximately a half hour.
There are reports of some sort of deal between between Rachel and Tiger -- i.e. money for silence -- we have no knowledge one way or the other. As of last night we do know no financial overture had been made.
But we do know Rachel, Tiger and his reps knew full well her original plan was to lie and deny the sexual relationship.
What we do know for sure -- Gloria Allred is a good chess player, so someone made a move in the last 12 hours.
