It's almost impossible to tell the difference between AU-MS examples of coins from looking at pictures. Especially when they were minted in 1799!

In that case, I will guess MS63 instead of AU58.

Edited to add: My MS63 guess is largely due to the fact that almost all uncirculated Bust Dollars (even higher graded examples) look as if they have light rub. And that one looks to have less than many that I have seen.

btw...

There are a few scratches on the holder that show in the pics...

one on the obverse that is slanted across Liberty's cheek, just left of her lips...

and quite a few on the reverse....mainly showing left of shield above arrows and several over the stripes on shield

If she gets past the Questionable toning gauntlet, I think she fetches a 63. Loads of luster on her and what looks like trace rub might not be. If she's graded there is no way in heck she's less than a 58. Must admit, I am not confident that she gets a grade...the obv looks like it could pass muster color-wise, but the reverse raises a flag...

My second guess is that the harsh lighting makes the small marks look bigger and it is a 64 or 65. Coinfacts says that there are 2 66s. --Jerry
