Whose bullion collection would you most like to see in person? (Among current forum members)

In order of the top 3:

Silver Baron (always wanted to see what 10,000 ounces of Ag looks like)

Jester (Wide range of diverse bars)

AgBlox (although it would have been nicer to see his collection 6 months agoimage)

Silverbaron is on top of my list. I wouldn't put my name on the list at all. Mines looking pretty poor at the moment. I've been selling & trading my collectible stuff for 90% over the last 4-6 months.

I would have loved to see mine right now if I had've started buying PM's when I started collecting back in '04.........image

I'm flattered but by no means one of the heavy hitters. What about Norseman and Cinman? And with the knowledge Deadhorse and Roadrunner have, they must be packing piles of the stuff. Not to mention the Pimp Daddy, aka Terminator aka Otis. And there are probably many others whose collections I'd love to gawk at.

The collection I would like to see, out in the open, all in one place...

    ...is mine.

    I've never done that before...

I admit that I haven't even looked at (say touched) over half of what I got... who opens up every tube in a monster box (or the like)? Isn't there anyone besides me that has 'sealed mint boxes' around?

I'm moving soon, so I'll get a better look. I'm not married to my bullion... to say the least... although I have a serious crush on my 90% proofs.

I not interested in looking at anyones' complete hoard/collection... to me its a personal matter... best left for me and my better half.

    Peace

I'm shocked at the accusation that I'm some kind of PM hoarder! Shocked I tell you!!!!!
However, I do find that the .50 cal/.223 ammo cans hold 1000oz quite easily
    image

The .308 cans for the old M60 hold $500 face of 90% when stacked properly.

If anyone read a certain other board a few months ago, I posted that I had managed to pull a groin muscle moving some of
the big cans around. Talk about pain! I was useless for days, OK....more useless than I normaly am. That's why I like gold
neatly arranged in PCGS blue boxes, so much value, so little space...but IMHO, the % gain will be made in silver.

It's funny that I should be mentioned along with Deadhorse. We were at a show several years ago when silver was around 5 bucks and he and I were probably the only
buyers on the floor. We were using a board dealer member's table as our base of operations and as our dumping ground.

  • man, I'd like to fill up one of the 83mm mortar cans I've got with silver to see how much it'd weigh. I had a fishing buddy with the Marines in Iraq bring me back some Holy Land to sell!!!

I'm a lightweight compared to those heavy hitters but thanks for the sentimental votes. There are some infrequent posters that have dozens or is it hundreds of $1000 face bags of silver and a 1000 $20 Saints/Libs. No doubt the stashes are in the millions of dollars. A few of them have posted here telling what they were doing. Those kind of stashes make me a Lilliputian. I've always liked splitting numismatic gold with bullion content so on a % play I have fairly little pure bullion. But as the winds change one must be prepared to shift direction a bit.

Mine. image I'd love to see it all at once instead of just bits and pieces.

I'd like to have seen agblox' before he broke it up. I'd like to see Jester's to see those 5 kilo bars. Cinman's, if his actually exists.

  • I am just a piker compared to many others, but thank you for the votes!

Maybe when the kid visits at Christmas, I will have him bring his camera for a Friday metal porn shoot.

AgBlox ..... I hope to have a few special bars that I think that you will enjoy seeing.

I know an older gentleman who had 120 bags of 90% Silver. He bought them back when I was trying to accumulate as much 90% as I could afford back in the late 90's through 2001, of course I accumulated a pittance compared to him he also had 200 or so slabbed $20 saints in 63 and 64 but sold out of all of his Gold and Silver when slabbed Saints were selling for under $500 and Silver was roughly $6 an oz.image

I wouldn't call myself a heavy hitter bit if my hunch on Silver and Palladium over the next 3-5 years are correct I will be able to retire and rent the farm out.
  • I like the smaller ammo cans which hold (9) 100oz bars and is plenty heavy to move around.
    Deadhorse gets my vote
