Home Coin Swaps, Tags and Giveaways

Hello everyone. This is a giveaway signup thread. (WINNER PMed)

On October 28th 1980 I started working for my company. SOOOOOOO, tomorrow is the last day, of my 28th year of employment. image I still like my job (most of the time) image
And for my anniversary I'm having a giveaway. image

The prize is going to be a 1980 P-D uncirculated coin set. image

It will be a random draw.

I'll decide when to end the signup later.

When you sign up: Tell me, how long you have had your job, or your longest job, or how long married, if longer. If your in school, what grade?

imageimageimageimageimageimageimageimageimage

PS
Back at my 25th anniversary time, I told my boss He should forget about a Rollex.
Instead he should give me a 1" Long handel Allen wrench. Made of Bullion grade gold. He liked that. Needless to say, I didn't get one. image
(Old man) Look I had a lovely supper, and all I said to my wife was, “That piece of halibut was good enough for Jehovah”.

(Priest) BLASPHEMY he said it again, did you hear him?

Never thought of a job give-away!
Oddly, I celebrated (without any celebration) my 20th on Oct.2nd.
Before that 9 years 2 months at my previous job.
    Both in the same field.

    Thanks Paul.

  • Hi and congratulations!

I spent 20 years working in the banking industry, 8 years in financial services industry and currently 3 years for a non-profit.

And thanks for the cool giveaway!
  • My boss is a wonderful guy, I'm self-employed and have been since 1990. My other "boss" and I have been married 40 years as of last July. We have lived at this address now for nearly 25 years so I'd say I have sticktooitiveness.
Thanks for the chance for the set.

  • Thanks for the chance!

I've been working at my job for over 6 years now - my first job too, started when I was 16.

    Holy smokes!
You don't hear of that type of longevity these days (especially not in the field I am in). I've been at my job for 12+ years now and am in the "top" 15% or so of longevity here (out of just under 100k folks worldwide). 28 years would put someone in the top 10 I think.

Thanks for the chance and congratulations!

My first job lasted 9 years.
Then, 2 years each for 2 jobs...the actual should end shortly (it lasted more than 2 years)

I have been married for 3 months (this week)!

    Thanks again!

    Count me in & thanks!

7 years on my current job, 5 as an employee and 2 as a contractor.

Married a little over 6 years, would have done that much earlier except we weren't permitted to before June 10, 2003.

I accidently started my profession in television production as a senior in high school with a part time camera man job... that was 1991.
Somehow it's 19 years later & I'm still working in television. Happy to say I still enjoy the profession & challenge. I wish I could say I felt
the same way for the deterioration news coverage and main stream television media in general .

    Thanks & congrats!
