In the Peace/Morgan auction the seller states:

I HAVE COLLECTED THESE COINS FOR YEARS HOWEVER SOME WERE LEFT TO ME

I'd be willing to bet the 1796 dollar in the bogus PCGS holder was left to him and they believe this coin is for real and hit the perverbial jack-pot!

I have a pretty good nose for a crook. I've defended many a seller that posters here called a crook saying that I think he may just be an innocent guy who is confused or similar.

This guy I think is a crook trying to pretend to be an idiot.

Two strikes will usually get you time in the penalty box. did they take down his other auctions too? --Jerry

Oops. Second auction hasn't been nuked. Fake

But it still has 5 days running so ebay will probably end it by then. The perp may end it soon to avoid the second strike. He is probably reading this thread as someone always finds it amusing to send them a link. --Jerry

Jerry, my mistake, I bookmarked the wrong auction (the first one but not the second) and Mark Feld brought to my
attention so I edited my thread!

Let's keep our eyes on this guy and this coin, and report it every time it comes up.

Has seller been NARU yet? BTW, what is his username?

looks like the guy is legit in the repair parts and tools he is selling.

and he is selling the coin "as is" and "no warranty"

perhaps he isn't aware that this one coin issue, the one where he obviously doesn't read the special warning, could cost him ebay account.
