1994-95 basketball refractor question

If a refractor is graded WITHOUT the "coating", is it less valuable than a comparable card thats raw but WITH the "coating"? Or is there a significant discount on the peeled card even though its graded?

A w/coating card will command a premium over a peeled card.

When selling raw there may be a negligible premium for cards with the peel.
The peels are somewhat useful in keeping the surfaces from getting scratched or smudged.
So as a collector I like the raw cards with peels better because they have a higher chance of being in mint condition, when I remove the peel.

Completely agree. I haven't seen any clear differentiation in price between the two versions in PSA slabs.
