2000th post giveaway (winners announced!)

In commemoration of my upcoming 2000th post, and in celebration of the Bellaire Coin Club show in Texas this weekend, I offer two items in a random giveaway.

The first piece is a 2009 pewter Summer Seminar token, created and struck in Colorado Springs under the auspices of Joe Paonessa's and George Cuhaj's new enterprise, The Badger Mint.

The second piece is a brass campaign token made for Mike Ellis' run for ANA governor. It was struck by Moffatt & Co. in Eureka Springs, with a reverse die originally cut by Ron Landis of the Gallery Mint Museum for the 1795 gold half eagle historic reproduction.

*Winner: savoyspecial

Mintage of either piece around 1,000.

Simply post here and I will award each one based on a random number drawing likely sometime Sunday after dinner.

Congrats on 2k!! That brass token is awesome, but I was surprised to see a pewter token - are a lot of token done in pewter?? (In school we did pewter casting for jewelry, etc... it was a lot of fun)
