    Ambro is correct, this is one rare beast of a gold dollar! I think I've seen more 1875 gold dollars than 1863's. Congratulations on acquiring it!

    I haven't taken exact count recently but I'm close to 50% now with a few more great coins coming in next week, 49O 57C 56S 59S. 1863's had a situation with planchet laminations like this coin. It's in an IGC holder now but according to my contact at PCGS it should be gradeable. The gold dollar complete series is 80 coins total.
