In June I spent three weeks in the "old country" and visited some relatives for the first time. These 10 Euros were given to me by my Aunt Monika. We found out just 30 minutes prior my departure that we were both numismatists. She joked that we waisted all this time talking family and politics and we could have been talking "coins."
Each 10 Euro is .925 sterling weighing in at .587oz pure. All in all, 8.8 ounces of silver was gifted...not to mention 150 Euros!
Eagle side: I love all the different depictions of the German Eagle.
Many new avatar candidates!
Commemorative side:
Mintages run from 4.0 million down to 1.5 million. Dates range from 2002-2008.
One of my favorites: Bauhaus
