What a deal. Generic MS65 PCGS Saints for $3995.

I was driving to work listening to one of the politically incorrect comedy channels on XM when I heard an ad for the NY Mint wanting to sell some rare gold. Now they explained the the US Govt melted ALL THE GOLD from the 1860s to 1933 but they had found some in Europe. They had named it the Rive d'or Stash and given it a provenance.

The comedy wasn't the best this morning so I decided to call them up see what the deal was. After a few cut-to-the chase questions I found that they were selling dated coins graded by PCGS. They asked if I wanted a high grade coin or a low grade. I said high grade and was offered a PCGS MS65 1924 Saint for the low price of $3995. I told her that I would like her address because I would show up there tomorrow with 50 of them that I would be glad to sell her for half that--allowing her to double her money. She then explained how valuable the Rive d'or provenance was.

I finally politely passed and decided it was time for XM42, classic vinyl. There are no such good deals on the music channels.

Amazing. I'm not sure if I'd even want to pay that much for the same coin with an Eliasberg provenance.

....I like to switch back and forth between Right talk (Hannity, Sullivan, Levin) and Left talk (Hartmann, Rhodes, Schultz), followed by doses of the uncensored comedy channel and 80's on 8. I need the comedy and 80's tunes so that I don't kill myself after having switched back and forth between the other two. image

Their ad in magazines is for $5 gold pieces (same line of BS) and the picture shows stacks of them - with NO DATE OR MINTMARK!! And they want a little more than double the value for them as well. Cheers, RickO

$3995? Wow. That's one for the price of 2.
    When in doubt, don't.

Was that offered with, or without 'lube?'

The BINs on certified MS gold are getting ridiculous.

Fellas, leave the tight pants to the ladies. If I can count the coins in your pockets you better use them to call a tailor. Stay thirsty my friends......
