That is so true. When I was growing up I loved to play paintball. When I graduated college my first real job was for the largest paintball manufacture in the world. Once I worked there I haven’t played since. I do think with given enough time that collection can give a ton of enjoyment to whoever decides to tackle it.
Liquidating my collection for the 3rd and final time. Time for others to enjoy what I have enjoyed over the last several decades. Money could be put to better use.
AP Report - "Thelma and Louise" causing distractions in Louisiana
Two men in a Uhaul, dressed in drag, are throwing 1988 donruss baseball cards out the windows in an apparent effort to find their way home after heading to points unknown. Attempts by this reporter to contact their wives, was met with disgust, as each wife claimed to not know the individuals in question.
Officers are attempting to lure them to the side with LSU memorabilia and any junk 1980's PSA 10 they can find.
Please use caution if approached by these two "men", as they are considered mentally unstable.
The best pitch to start a hitter off with is always strike one.

wow, what a day. Mike and Bill arrived around 5 pm, and with 5 people total (and my two sons), we got them loaded up in about 2 hours. First off, the original pictures didn't do the collection justice, there were way more cards than we thought. However, it appears the trip was worthwhile, as there was a ton of junk wax and all kinds of cards and memorabilia. Here are the pics
Bill and my two sons in the process of moving the cards out
Mike was in charge of loading and organizing the Uhaul
Bill finds a factory sealed '83 Donruss set
Myself, my two sons, Bill, and Mike pose with the partially loaded UHaul
My sons crashing after their day of hard work
I imagine Mike and Bill are about half way home now. It was great meeting some of the forum members, and I hope they enjoy the cards

As far as permission from the wives, I thought my wife would be the one that killed me. Her only response was, "When are you leaving?".

Cool, looking forward to it.
I know they're going to be sorting as they're driving and taking turns behind the wheel.
I wonder how they're going to divey it up. "It's mine! No, it's mine! I saw it first! "
