Yes, I meant "Twitter". Sorry about that. I use the TwitterFon application on iPhone, and when you send a message it's called a "tweet".

I don't Tweet, nor have joined Twitter.

But....... I do know a few that are Tweakers and
they are tweaking while posting on this forum

I haven't yet, but there's a lot of it going on at Facebook. Someone from these boards started a group on Facebook. I can't remember what it's called. There are over 500, if you search the word "coins" there.

Don't know about twitter, but the two larger ones at Facebook are one called "I love Coin collecting!" and another called "U.S. Coin Collectors"

No I dont use twitter at all, for anything.

Just another catchy internets thing I dont need or have a use for.

To be completely honest, I use the internets for posting here and looking at coins. Thats it anymore.

I couldn't find ryk43 on Twitter

When I write an article I Digg it which forwards the link to Twitter which forwards to FaceBook and to one enlightened coin community that takes twitter feeds in the member's area. My websites poll Twitter and list my latest Tweets. Pretty cool huh? 1 post reaches many sites...

It is a classic of USA iconic images, Cronkite taking off his glasses to report JFK had been pronounced dead, struggling to hold back his personal grief. I was in the 7th grade then. I remember a loser type school bully was on the bus going home that day spouting off how happy he was Kennedy had been killed. I didn't understand how anyone could feel that way.

Now, almost 46 years later, I learn Cronkite has died from a RYK twitter message picked up while inside the Nashville Apple store in the Mall at Green Hills. Strange to reflect on the massive changes in human technology that have occurred since that sad day in November, 1963.

Don't use it, period. Don't see the point. If I want to communicate with someone, I'll call or send an e-mail. Am not into the Facebook thing, either. Yes, I'm on there (didn't want to pi** off people I know who wanted me to be their friends on Facebook), but I'm not keen on putting personal info on a public bulletin board.

However, I think Bear is on to something. Something about twitter seems an awful lot like tweeking.
