Poll: So Now I have 2 Gorgeous 1911-S Dimes

Last Friday was a slow day at work so I spent time searching online for Barber Dimes for my date set. I came across this MS65 dime on Larry Whitlows site. Called up to confirm it was available and it was, so I skipped out of work to check it out and ended up purchasing it.
I already had the date in MS62, so this was an upgrade. After returning home and comparing the 2 coins, I came to the conclusion that the MS65 dime just isnt that much better than the MS62 to warrant the difference in price. In fact I think i prefer the 62 over the 65. So here they are for you to view and tell me what you would do. Is the 65 worth $750 more than the 62?
1st Pics of the 65 are from Whitlows site and 2nd set are mine. Pics of the 62 are by me.

Rob,
I thought you were doing a Date Set - and based on my memory - most of your coins are very similar
to the second & third images. [ the MS 62 & a beauty it is ].
The Whitlow 65 is superior in surface quality - but its almost too nice [ if that could ever be said ]
to mix in your set. [ I can say the same thing about a coin or two in my own sets.]
Tough decision you have - that's for sure.

<< <i>I voted for the 65 based on those pics, but that was w/o regard to the price differential... >>
well said and i did the same.
Yours is far superior in strike (oak veins are much better) and theirs is far superior
in lack of tics or such.

Having said that, if you personally don't get the "bang" or "wow factor" from the 65, it wasn't worth the extra $750 (to you).

<< <i>I am doing the date set. So far I have 10 dates, most of them are low MS, however the last 3 ive purchased, the 1892, 1901 and 1911-S have all been 65's. Eventually over time i'd like them all to end up at 64-65 with maybe a few 66's thrown in. >>
Well, Rob, you know what to do then.
Keep the Whitlow coin - and sell off the
MS 62 ... I checked my inventory ledger,
I have a nice 58...but your's is fantastic.

<< <i>MS65 and then you don't have to upgrade later, heck you already have it. >>

The slabbed image is a bit burry and there is harsh light obstructing the view so, it's hard to compare. You'd need to relight the slabbed coin to get a better comparrison.
HOWEVER, either way, that top coin does not need to be upgraded, it is sweet!

A lot depends on what you want; many people do not consider an MS 62 to be an investment grade coin. Personally, when I see an MS 62, I have to be convinced that it's not a slider (because most of the ones I've seen usually are sliders).
