Poll. Would you pay $295 today for a 1/10 gold buffalo in OMP?

Speaking strictly as a collector, low mintage coin.
Not a bullion thread since this coin is priced well above bullion.

we'll see.
Eleven thousand coins (if that is the mintage) with a virtually 100% survival rate is not a rare item by any means. If the mint ever issues them again, I might consider getting involved. Otherwise at these prices I can learn to do without them.
11k minted on a very desirable coin with gold as it's foundation is a very powerful combination indeed.
Anyone want to sell me one for what the op paid?
If no response, then I rest my case
<< <i>Gold might be a "foundation," but at $295, which works out at $2,950 pre ounce, that foundation is pretty deep in the ground.
Come back to this post in a year and see how much the foundation has risen to the surface lol

And a quick review of my spreadsheet indicates that prices are *still* advancing for every 2008-W Gold Buff issued.
I wouldn't have expected this much, but you must also consider that the gold market may be giving all of these a nice boost. More gold buyers = more entries into Modern Bullion.
I knew it would happen.
