This roll of 50 (yes thats 50 cents) is currently bid up to $112. And I get flak for selling a handcrafted pure silver bar for spot + $5??? Am I missing something here?

whats the big draw on this?

This whole zinc cent thing is a good example of the money that can be made in the first days of the release of a coin. Somehow, I suspect the value of these cents will plummet quickly to about one cent.



I think lots of this anger comes from folks that are upset that they are not the ones making the money.
I mean, if you sell your bars for a markup, how on earth can they resell them for a profit? They cannot. "Therefore you suck."
This seems to apply to both your bars and those zincolns.

At the moment, they are almost as scarce as the UHR ..... Non available in the DC Metro Area Banks.

My bank says try in March. That is when they get new coinage. So far I could not find any here in Maryland yet. Though not really actively seeking.
