That does suck when they come that close. I had one around that size come within 1 mile of my house two years ago. I have a friend whose farm was almost in the path of the Greensburg tornado and he said it was, not joking here, 1 1/4 mile in width at its widest point.
PSA Graded and #1 on the registry. At least my master set is. Spence bought a prebuilt set and has the lead in the Basic Category but I'm tracking him down.

I was supposed to go see Nickleback tonight with my brother-in-law and nephew but I gave my ticket to my daughter. One day she will appreciate the sacrifices I make for her. I haven't bought any junk wax in a few months just so she and her brother could eat.
Bill, while poppage is waiting, and knowing you're a Louisiana guy, have you ever read any of James Lee Burke's books? They are so good, you'll feel like you're in LA. Also has some good ones based in Montana.
good job guys, a lot of useless posts last night. I thought that I going to have to post them all myself. Early morning post to get us back on the front page.
We have a monthly meeting at work and I talked them into having it at 6:45. I told my retail sales manager that everyone will not be randy in the early morning. She agreed so we meet at the crack of dawn. It works. Its the exact opposite of the Sienfeld episode where Elaine hires Jerry's dad
I made this same statement during the first group sub-"I don't care if it takes another 3 months along as they receive good grades." On a side note, PSA kinda hooked us into subbing 1500 cards at $5 only to create a special $4.5 and $5.5 shortly after. I thought I read that almost 1000 of the cards in the group II were $4.5 cards??? I just thought PSA would rush to get our sub done to allow us to start another, but now I feel they could care less knowing there will be no other 1500 card group sub. Maybe I am wrong. I just want my cards back so I can slip into the shadows for awhile. .02
I for one, am rooting for a Group Sub III, I have some extra cash (on a good roll playing texas hold'em) and some minty fresh 83 OPC that are just beggin for encasement. I must sub enough to pass D. Pud. on the set registery.

Dave, although there were 931 cards that would have fallen under the $4.50 rate, there were another 431 that would have fallen under the $5.50 rate. The other 138 cards would have been $7.00 each under the standard bulk submission rate since the April specials only apply to cards from 1956 to present. I did the math using the 1500 cards of our group submission, comparing the April specials to the deal we got and it works out as follows:
