List of bar sizes

I'm putting together a list of know Silver bar manufacturers. All bars listed are owned by me or have been confirmed to be legit by me or other members. I will list a bar from a company I have not seen nor a size from a company unless I have confirmed it exists. If you have any to add please reply to the add, I will make certain they exist and then add them to the list. At some point I will put in alpha order and maybe list aprox average sale price. Sunshine Mint: 1, 10 and 100 ounce prooflike extruded bars.

There are more, I'm sure. That's just off the top of my head.

Also the US Strategic Stockpile 1oz, 5oz and 10oz bars (and 1oz rounds). I believe these were manufactured by APM.
  • Johnson Matthey (& Mallory) 100 grain

Also, im sure you just wanted silver, but JM does make a 2.5 gram gold bar, as well as an ULTRA ellusive 1/10th oz gold bar.

Edited to add: Pamp Suisse made a 1/10th oz silver bar in addition to their other fractionals. I own 4, but they are very PRICEY!!!

  • Cars....this is shaping up to be probably the single most comprehensive listing of major refinery silver bars ever created! I applaud your efforts!image

Edited to add: There are several (3-4?) beautiful 3 oz machined bars made by a refiner in Walla Walla, Washington. The name of the refiner escapes me at the moment, but one of you knows what im talking about. IIRC, all of them are dated 1969.

I've got a 3 oz. bar made by Foster inc. from Walla Walla Washington. It reads as follows: American State Bank Great Bend, Kansas 1910-1970. The front of the bar has a picture of the bank and the back of the bar has a neat map with a teepee, canon, horse drawn covered wagon, Pawnee rock along with the Arkansas river and Walnut creek, it also reads Barton County hitorical society on the top of the reverse.

Cars, if your on ebay looking up stuff, write down anything you see as there are always TONS of stuff on ebay from the various sellers like bamafanforsure. I think this list will be gigantic if you write down everything you see on ebay.

There is also a 2 oz VW Bar:

Also don't forget Pro Built LLC
    5 oz rolo
    10 oz rolo
    10 oz bar

Condor 3 oz bar, no mark saying the name, just has some bird on it:

Hong Kong Specie Office silver bar?

    Deak Perera 10 oz poured
    image

    Motherlode in various 4.XX sizes
    image

    Hong Kong Specie silver bar?
    image

    K&F Mint 3 oz bar

All these items below are not mine but are from ebay auctions that I did a completed listing search on ebay for only a few minutes. TONS of different stuff, this will take a lot of work but I think if Cars does this and we all help him, his list will be completed soon.

I have asked Cars if he gets the chance to, to add pictures to each of these items because its always nice to see what a certain bar from a certain maker looks like. Maybe some of you can send him pictures? A list like this needs pics!

all this talk about rare bars got me curious so i checked some of my bars and found nothing that interesting but i did find a small 1 gram gold Johnson matthey limited bar with its own Assay card .

Its light blue cardboard in flip style with the logo on the outside and purity information inside it has the signature of the vice president and the date ( MAR 4 1983 ) and the serial number C0328, the purity 99.99% and 1 GRAM.

i doubt its very rare, but i looked on ebay and couldnt find one....so i thought i would ask you guys.
