Silver Goal #1 Complete

CladiatorCladiator Posts: 18,050 ✭✭✭✭✭
I have two sub goals that make up my main goal for a small stockpile of silver. First goal was to get 200 ounces in round form. 100 ounces of government issues bullion coins and 100 ounces of reputable private mint rounds. That goal is now complete and the images below illustrate that. Sub goal two is 200 ounces in bar form. I'm about 40% done with that one. My ultimate goal is to have the 400 ounce stockpile to hold inevitably and add maybe a kilo or so per year. Modest compared to some of you guys but it is what it is and that's all I need it to be. Hope you enjoy the pics.

Those tubes are fantanstic. They fit the coins nicely, keep them from rubbing each other, close super securely with the two locking rings and are easily stoable with the feet on the bottom. I got them at Apmex for a buck and change each. Link To The Tubes

I believe you must have a $50 minimum purchase and shipping will be $9.95 for the holders. The best way is if you are buying pm's to just add any supplies you need with the same order.

I am working on something similar with different types of world bullion.

Do those cases fit the silver coins with AirTites on them?

hmmmm, your giving me some ideas now!

Now tell me this, are the rounds raw or in some kind of air tite holder?

Exactly. I just tacked the tubes onto an order of silver I was already making so the $50 minimum wasn't an issue.

No. I've not tried but there's no way they'd be big enough. They fit the thinner 1oz coins raw somewhat losely and the thicker 1oz coins raw perfectly.

    All raw.

I didn't figure that they would fit the ones with AirTites but I was looking for a cheaper alternative to the AirTite brand holders because they are like $7.5 apiece.

    Awesome collection! I am jealous!
