    It seems that way right now, but five weeks ago you probably would have said McNabb.

    Not the most overrated, but certainly one of the most.
    RGIII is the most over-hyped IMO.

    Let me throw this out there...who do you think is the most overpaid?

    Most overrated? Joe Namath, without a doubt.

    I used to think Favre was over rated. The Vikings had a pretty good record against him at home when John Randal was getting after him.

    His first year with the Vikings changed my opinion, he was one of the best of all time. Don't forget his durability as well that's important.

    He WAS a prima donna, but many great athletes are as well.

    Yup he's definately on my overrated list.

    Doesn't even make my top 20 list.


    He does remind me a lot of Romo. Plays great, but just seemed to have a knack of throwing picks and making
    bonehead plays at the worst times in games.

    Crazy thing is Romo got $3MM more guaranteed money.
    So basically my kid won't be able to go to college, but at least I'll have a set where the three most expensive cards are of a player I despise ~ CDsNuts

    Romo is an infinitely more talented qb than favre was without a doubt.

    The most overrated player ever is Joe Namath

    I had to look through the posts to make sure someone already answered the obvious. Namath hands down over rated. I'm a lifelong sports fan and didnt even realize how over rated he was until the last couple of years.

    He had one big season and he was the MVP of one of the most important games in NFL history. Even that stat line wasnt too impressive 17/28 206 yards ) touchdowns.

    only had 2 seasons out of 13 where he threw as many touchdowns as picks. Career completion of 50.1%

    Yeah ----- way over rated. Maybe Bobby Thompson should be in the Baseball Hall of Fame.
