I knew Tex was going to sign before Christmas, and I guessed he'd either sign with the Yankees or Red Sox. So before I went away for the holiday's, I decided to get the holiday juices flowing between the two greatest rivals in sport.

As a kid the Mets were constantly a 50 win team.
One also needed a 'good team' to root for.
I always liked the Pirates for some odd reason.
If the 2 played one another I'd root for the Mets.
