I just put in a dummy order for 1,000 maple leafs and shipping is only $24.95

The prices were competative, IMO. A roll delivered was $327, local B&M, that finally lowered his price, $318.

I can't believe their shipping for 1,000 ounces is only $24.95. Teletrade soaked me $270.00 to ship the same.

Well ya did save over 730 dollars on the Maples... Although Apmex has closed the gap some. They were running close
to 1 dollar more per Maple... 1000 Maples X's 1.00 = 1000 dollars... Minus the extreme shipping 730 dollar saving...

Spot was at $8.55 when I bought my last round from teletrade. If spot was $8.55 right now I would pull the trigger on the APMEX deal

i agree with your analysis. what good is a low shipping price when
they factor it into their selling price?

i never found ampex to be competitive period. one of the more
expensive choices. thus i have never bought from them.

I agree, you have to look at the total price paid. If they would have had this sale when silver was at $8.60 I would not have bought from teletrade. Plus the fact that they take credit card payments up to $5000.00. I get 2% cashback from my visa card
