And just think, the photos are from nearly two years ago. I'm sure the stack has grown some!
"In the absence of the gold standard, there is no way to protect savings from confiscation through inflation [...] Gold stands in the way of this insidious process. It stands as a protector of property rights." - Alan Greenspan
That is one great stash. This example shows what one can do over a long period of time. If you slowly accumulate, this stash is possible for most of us. $200 per month over 20, 30, or 40 years could probably attain this feat.

<< <i>Nice stash. Any Libertads in that group??

Sure am glad this thread is still here. SilverBaron is King in my world of 300 ozs I've stacked. I only began my adventure in PM stacking 2 years ago.
RR, yes I also have 1 Libertad stacked. It's a beauty!
My problem is dollar cost averaging is no where near SilverBaron.
Since the original post, I have sold all of my numismatics and put the proceeds into PM's. While I liked my coins ...
I just got tired of all the games being played. Is it in the right slab? Does it have a + ? Does it have a green bean?
Does it have a gold shield? How do you know it isn't a Chinese counterfeit in a counterfeit slab?
Do you have a sworn affidavit from your mother, priest and lawyer attesting to the fact that this coin has never been cleaned,
retoned, puttied, lasered, colored or doctored in any way?
You do?
Well ... I still think it's DRECK. ( Until you see it on their site.)
The other reason was simpler .... I don't think that the value of MOST coins is going to do better than the PM's.
So, since the first posting, I no longer have a numismatic goal ..... and my PM goals have defiantly expanded.
Now for a little Q/A time .....
Your last name isn't Hunt by chance, is it?
Nope.... but cute!
And just think, the photos are from nearly two years ago. I'm sure the stack has grown some!
A little.

Now this is the real secret. Every bonus. Every tax refund. Every raise. Every extra $$ you come across.
It may not always seem like the thing to do .... But then 1 day ....
My problem is dollar cost averaging is nowhere near Silver Baron's.
It's all relative ..... When silver passes $35 .... YOUR cost average will sure look GREAT!
OK gang .......... all I can say is ....
KEEP ON STACK'N !!
