Finally got me a roll of...

Mexican Libertads, 2001 with the newer design. Much more attractive than the previous design in my opinion. So that brings me to a roll each of ASE, Australian Koalas, Canadian Maples, Austrian Philharmonics and Mexican Libertads. Now I'll start on rolls of the private mint silver rounds.

Went with the plain jane maples. Personally I like them better than the privy and/or commem. maples.

I think the the 2009 Olympic coins look better than the 2008's did.

yes i agree. I am hoping premiums stay high enough on fleabay
plus the new design which might make some nice returns. Now
I just need a drop of silver to 8.50 so i can get them relatively cheap.

Yeah I didn't forget the Britannias but I just won't pay that large of a premium. The cheapest I've seen them for lately is $30+ per ounce...way too rich for my blood even with the live.com discount.

The Britannias have always demanded a high premium because of the low production figures. The 2007 & 2008 were limited to 100k per year and I don't have the figures for the prior years. Grab a roll now, because they ain't going to be any cheaper....

  • you can buy 2008 britannias directly from the Royal Mint website for about 14.43 british pounds ($21 US) if you register an account there.
With a mintage of 100k it's not a bad deal at all

    very interesting.

that smells like an easy 20-25% net profit if you can flip them. i wonder
what their delivery date is? :-)

but i also tend to shy away from 1 ounce of silver at the 21 mark.
it just seems wrong. i do not consider them collectible.

But it will cost you 7£ (pounds) to have it shipped to the US for a total of about $30+

cladiator, please post a pic. I'd like to see the new design your talking about.

I recently got 2 rolls of ASEs at a great price from a board member. First time I have ever owned 2 full rolls of ASEs so I'm excited.
