I bought this with some scrap gold today........


Its the size of a dime, anyone know who made these things ?

    Dunno, never seen one before. It's kind of cool though. What's with the circle in the center of the reverse? It almost looks like a droplet of glue or something???

    I'd say that's how it's mounted on the glass. The frame looks like it is held together with RTV which would date it in the last 20 years or so. --Jerry

    I used to own one, don't know where it came from. Gave it away to a family friend on their golden wedding anniversary.

    Unlike solder, glue can usually be removed using a solvent such as acetone without damage to the coin.
