I urge fellow forumites to check out live.com's cashback program. Currently you can get 30% off almost any eBay Buy-it-now auction. Just got 20 - 1oz Amark silver rounds for $11.71 per ounce after cashback. Check out the threads about it..............it is well worth it!! There are several silver offers on eBay for silver at around $17 an ounce currently and that equates to around $11.90 an ounce with the cashback. That is all, over and outimage

    Good luck with that, it's having a tough time staying below $11 the few times it has been there lately. You'll see $20 before you see $5. I doubt it will go below $7.

    Good luck with that as long as you expect to get only paper silver (ie SLV) and pray that Barclays doesn't go belly up while you're holding those shares. The real stuff will continue to trade much higher. The lower paper prices go, the more resistant the physical price will be.

    Not to one-up you or anything... but thanks to the live/eBay thing... I just got $100 FV 40% for about 9 an ounce!

    I was really excited... I've also gotten about 1.5 oz of gold for about $760 an oz, after rebates.

    I see the 6 limit and I have not reached it yet but is it 6 per user ID? ie. Many people have an eBay seller account and a separate buyer account......can you have 12 purchases total????

    Once it hits your paypal account, you can tranfer it to your checking, I did that with part of mine on the last batch.

    Was able to get $100 in all Barbers for about 9.5x face shipped.

    Also picked up several rolls of Walking Liberty Halves for 7.4x face shipped. image
