If you had the chance right now would you take delivery of a 1000 ounce bar for 12,800.00?

No, I already have a doorstop! image

Seriously, if I could afford that much silver I would want it in smaller chunks. I wouldn't want to have to sell an entire large bar to cash out.

Edited to add: I'm assuming you mean a silver bar.

I'd rather pay a bit more to get 100oz bars for portability and an easier future sell.

  • as long as it's .999 and common refiner yes
  • If I were only investing in 1,000 ounces I would prefer a mix of bars, mostly 100's. Otherwise if I were investing in 2,000 or more I would probably opt for one of the 1,000 size bars.

At that price, I feel there is definately room for appreciation.
Witty sig line currently under construction. Thank you for your patience.
