collecting RAW Topps baseball cards 1952 Highs to 1972. looking for collector grade (somewhere between psa 4-7 condition). let me know what you have, I'll take it, I want to finish sets, I must have something you can use for trade.
looking for Topps 71-72 hi's-62-53-54-55-59, I have these sets started
By the way, I've mentioned this before here but a very private collector friend of mine has the entire set (mantle, mays, jackie, matthews, all of them) autographed. Most of them in person...he lived in NJ and a scout for the yankees lived on his street as a kid in the 50's, so the neighbor would take him to visit the clubhouse a few times a year and would also get access to the visiting team and he got his entire 52 set signed. They are a true beauty and a one-of-a-kind set.
Regardless, your progress so far is fantastic, and an awesome feat. Keep the scans coming.
yeah i remember you telling me that james, that would have been awsome to be akid around a ballpark back when the great played i got a list being mailed to me of the 407-my printer broke for some reson, so im gonna go thru them all and see whos left ,like i did on 50 bowman fb, it was easier though- only 144 instead of 407!!
Did you buy that lot of off Ebay? If it's the lot I'm thinking of, I made an offer on it a year or two ago. It was on Ebay for a while. I know I'm being nosy, but what did you have to give for them?
